I am integrative counsellor with an emphasis in humanistic approach but drawing from different therapeutic styles.

My focus is in creating a positive climate with the client of empathy and trust, to explore the issues that are interfering with your wellbeing. To understand the client’s circumstances and perspective and for the client to clarify how they feel/think. I then aim to intervene on the patterns that are causing the distress, to expand perspective and in collaboration bring new patterns that will improve the person’s distress and wellbeing.

I have studies and worked in Spain, USA and UK, therefore I also offer sessions and Spanish and therapy related to intercultural/expat difficulties.

Other areas of interest/experience include anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem and past trauma.

Difficult times with the right help and clarification are an opportunity for growth and newfound wellbeing. My aim is to make this process rewarding for you.

Counselling is a unique experience in which an individual can explore, understand and accept themselves and their relationships with others. I know how having someone to turn to, to talk about how you feel can be so helpful. It can be life changing.
We have all struggled with difficult times in our lives and had difficult emotions to try and make sense of. You are not alone.
In my practice I will support you to know yourself better, by helping you reflect, think and feel about your experiences. I will help you grow your own self-acceptance and awareness.

Are you sick of being told… “Be strong” or “get on with it” or maybe “give it time” or that old favourite “it will be alright when…”
If so counselling can work for you.
Suppressing your feelings and just getting on with it is more likely to make things a whole lot worse. There are ways that you can discover with counselling to help you to cope better, lessen your anxieties and fears and create a better well-being.
Although I work with a broad range of clients I have specific knowledge and training working with anxiety, depression, anger and loss. I draw on my whole bunch of life experiences such as being a CFS/Fibro warrior and dealing with my own trauma and cancer experiences.

Usha Nursing Dabycharun

Hello! I’m Usha. I’m a counsellor currently working online with clients who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression and many of the common life circumstances that affect our mental health.

Did you start the new year hoping for a ‘New You’? But instead, you’re finding that nothing has changed and you feel stuck in a loop, kind of like Groundhog Day, reliving the same life day after day after day? Perhaps you want to get out of this loop, but have no idea how.

We all need a place where we can speak freely about worries and fears, and needs. Sometimes, although well-meaning- you might feel friends and family don’t hear you in the way that you need.

I can help you by offering a space just for you. I can be a curious, compassionate companion to help you explore what might be keeping you stuck, and preventing you from moving forward in your life.

I am an online person-centred therapist, which means that you will be able to freely explore what is on your mind. We will work together so that you may be able to understand the issues with more clarity, and therefore, come to your own conclusions and find your own solutions.

I have a BSc in Psychology and a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. I am a member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

If you feel you need a safe and confidential space to talk, I’m here to help.

As a counsellor, I’m not here to advise you or share my personal opinions. Rather, I’m here to guide you through your own thoughts, feelings and behaviours to help look for possible solutions, which will work best for you.

I understand that you are looking for the right counsellor. So I offer a discounted first session (on Zoom or WhatsApp) which will allow you to get an idea of how I work.

As many people have busy schedules or work shift patterns, I am able to offer flexibility when booking sessions.

I have a BSc in Psychology and a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. I am a member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

I can help with relationship problems, anger management, bereavement and loss, and life direction issues.
Sometimes we don’t like where our life is heading or perhaps it feels like our life is heading nowhere and we need to kick-start a change.

My approach is to use Person Centred therapy where we work through what is happening for you and why it affects you the way it does and  use Solution Focused Therapy to focus on the future you want and the daily tasks and steps that will take you there.

I offer a positive approach to help you find answers to the challenges you face. We will work at your pace on the issues you want to address.

When we go through life, our opinions alter and so do our thoughts on past and present experiences. Things we have been through previously can suddenly hit us like a ton of bricks and we don’t know where the thoughts came from. We can be watching tv, reading a book and all of a sudden, Anxiety we never had before rears its ugly head affecting us in ways we never thought of, disturbing our daily lives whether gradually or suddenly. We could be sitting in a cafe with friends, completing tasks at school/work and all of a sudden a huge wave of grief takes over us. I am here to help you explore these feelings learning ways to cope.

I am a qualified counsellor and have CBT as my core model of study. I have also had personal experience of mental & physical abuse, health issues, divorce, loss & bereavement, LGBT+ issues and many others from child, young person and adult perspectives therefore I am able to empathise with my clients issues and walk with them on their own path of life.

I know things are difficult at the moment with Covid-19 so I’m here to help if you need support. If you’re interested please get in touch and let me know how I can help. I offer a friendly and confidential one-to-one counselling service supporting adults, young people, and children with a variety of issues using an integrative approach.

When counselling I use an integrative approach that encompasses different therapies such as person-centred, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused therapies, hypnotherapy, creative, and play therapy. I find this then gives clients a tool box of skills that they can use, rather than just one approach.

I will be empathic, honest, and non-judgemental during our sessions. As well as my private practice, I work for Respect For All who specialise in counselling adults and children with autism. I have previously worked as a school and college counsellor.

Finding the right counsellor is an important step, the fact that you are here means that you have already made the biggest step in recognising you would like some support.

Counselling is a safe space to offload and explore what’s going on for you. Counselling is not about me telling you what to do.  It might be helpful to provide you with coping techniques and strategies to support you to find your own way forward.

I will provide with you my time, commitment and compassion to your needs in a safe and comfortable environment. In working together, this may ease your distress and worries, by breaking things down into sizeable chunks.

Counselling may include exploring your past or recognising where low feelings/emotions maybe coming from.  This can support you to evaluate your needs for now and the future.  When considering a way forward, it is natural to experience anxiety or worry about what may happen, I can provide you with ways to support this and encourage your personal development.

I am a fully accredited integrative CBT psychotherapist. CBT is excellent at getting to the root of the clients current issues as well as addressing any past traumas which are holding them back today.

CBT works on the notion that we are not disturbed by things but by the view we take of them. I work with the client to address and change where necessary any unhealthy rigid thoughts and beliefs via a series of cognitive tasks and therapeutic interventions. It’s an approach that really puts the client back into the driving seat.

CBT is a proven, results driven  modality where the client often begins to see notable differences after the first few sessions.

I work both privately and for a clinic in London. I have experience working across a number of different issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, insomnia, eating disorders and addictions.

I am a qualified Psychotherapist counsellor who practices with a Humanistic & Integrative approach. This means I will focus on the needs of you, using techniques from different approaches.

Each and everyone of us are unique and therefore I do not feel I am the expert of you and can tell you what to do, my belief is to support and guide you, with my experience to help you work through your concerns. So that you can start to feel more complete within yourself.

The first step in starting counselling can feel overwhelming, bringing past thoughts to the surface and stirring up feelings of being judged, neglect, not trusting the other. My attitude is to value you for doing the best you can. It can be tough for us at times. Let us accept us for who and how we are right now at this moment.

I have personal experiences around being judged, mental health as well as trauma, so please do not feel you are alone. Once we allow ourselves to sit with the uncomfortable feelings, we will begin to flourish.
