About Me

Addiction has taken over your life. You didn’t see it as a problem before, but now, you’re starting to realise the impacts that it’s had on your personal and professional life. You feel ashamed to speak about it for fear that people won’t understand you, or because you don’t want to disappoint them. But you feel incapable of dealing with this by yourself, and recognise that you need support. You want to return to the days before it started. You want to understand the root of it. And you want to gain back the control in your life that you feel you have lost.

I am a person-centred therapist, which means that you will be able to speak about what is on your mind without being directed. You will be able to explore and understand the causes of your problem. Here, you will not be judged in any way. And as your counsellor, I will aspire to understand your unique situation as you work towards your own objectives.

I understand that you are looking for the right counsellor. I offer a 20-minute free introductory call so we can have a short chat and see whether we would be suitable for working together. I work online, so if you have a busy schedule or work in shift patterns, I can offer flexibility when booking sessions. Contact me at [email protected]

My Experience

In the past, I have worked with the charity Life Changes, with provides low-cost counselling to individuals. I have also volunteered with Yellow Door (formerly Southampton Rape Crisis).

I also work with a UK Organisation (Hall Counselling) as an online therapist.

Living in Mauritius, I have a keen interest in issues such as cultural identity, and  personal identity (within a particular cultural background).

Please contact me via email if you are interested in starting counselling.

My Approach

Sometimes, we may hit a brick wall with issues that are not allowing us to live a healthy and normal life. It is not always easy to admit that we need help, but in doing so, you are taking care of yourself.

As a Person-Centred therapist, I work in a non-directive way. I work with the belief that the client is the expert. By working in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment, together, we will seek to gain a better understanding of yourself and the issues surrounding you.
