About Me

I am an experienced counsellor, supervisor and psychosexual/relationship therapist. My background is in midwifery and women’s health and I have long experience working with teenage clients and family problems.
I am the person to see if you have issues with bereavement, depression, relationships, separation or divorce, work based problems and coping with the changes that life throws at us.
For those who have low self esteem or anxiety we can work together to improve your situation.
I also use EFT or tapping to help if your problem is addiction, phobias, anger management or PTSD.
I work with an open mind, using the therapy to suit your needs and will support you in improving your life whatever you feel is the problem. Ex-offenders welcome.
Couples counselling at any stage of your relationship is something I can assist with as a couple or single, Gay,lesbian, Bi or trans. If you want life to improve we can work together on any issue or I can sign post you to the best help for you. My place or yours and evening and weekend appointments available

My Experience

I have many tears of experience in counselling and teaching counselling. I use a variety of approaches to suit you and your problems so that together we can look for solutions.

From helping people after trauma for example bank robberies , to coming to terms with loss such as bereavement, loss of job role, empty nest syndrome, change in circumstances, pregnancy problems and termination, Relationship difficulties of all sorts, anxiety and depression, all these have an effect on people living a full life.

My Approach

My aim is to help you to find solutions to improve your life. Using the telephone for counselling means that distance and time differences are no longer problems and we can build up a relationship in that way or just have a one off session to explore a way forward.
