About Me

Hello! I am a qualified, UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist. I am a relational, trauma informed, transpersonal psychotherapist and I work in a mindful, compassionate and creative way both in English and Italian. I also an EMDR trainee therapist and I am able to use this in my work. I am a LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds.

How psychotherapy can help

Whatever your wound or life struggle, I will offer a calm and professional space to help you navigate through your current circumstances and towards a direction that is true and right for you.

Therapy can help with addressing the legacy of the past that might still be holding you back in the present and by helping you develop more and more of your inner resources and qualities

What to expect in the first session

This would be an opportunity to get to know each other with no obligations. It is for you to get a feel of whether you would like to work together on an ongoing basis and for me also to understand whether I might be the best person to help you. I will ask you some questions about what has brought you to therapy and about your background and this will be a good time to ask me any questions as well.

More about me
I came to therapy as a second profession after working in the advertising industry for some years. Originally from Sicily, in the south of Italy, I have called London my home for the past 13 years.

My Experience

I have completed a diploma training in integrative transpersonal psychotherapy at CCPE (Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education), in Little Venice. I have 6 years experience including placements, of which 3 years in private practice and one year post qualification.

Areas of special interest

A special area of interest of mine is working with complex trauma and dissociation through integrative ego-state therapy, EMDR and body-based approaches. I also have experience with addictions.

Some additional areas of interest of mine include working in a heart-centred compassionate way with the legacy of past traumas, neglect and addictions and also working with LGBTQ+ clients. I also have a special interest in working creatively with the feeling of longing or that something is always missing in one’s life.

My Approach

I work in a practical way to help you move closer to where you want to be in life. I also work in a collaborative and relational way. I am the kind of therapist that would answer your questions and that would always attempt to be real and genuine in the work together.

Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy means that I can offer a broad variety of approaches and can adapt your therapy to what works best for you. Some of these approaches are Psychodynamic, Person-centred, Gestalt, EMDR, Body work, Existential, Creative Imagination, CBT and Transpersonal. I also work in a trauma-informed way and have attended specialist workshops and supervision on complex trauma and dissociation together with currently undergoing EMDR training.

The Transpersonal approach recognises the spiritual dimension of the individual and uses creative tools such as breathing, body-work, sound, dreams, mindfulness, meditation, guided visualisations and active imagination in order to help you develop your inner qualities and achieve your full potential.

Sessions are offered usually on a weekly basis and last 50 minutes. I also offer sessions in English and Italian.
