My Experience

Counselling can help you explore your thoughts and feelings and make sense of what you are going through. It provides you with a safe space to talk freely about what is troubling you without the fear of being judged. The things you have been through in life can leave you with difficult thoughts and feelings. They may have left you feeling not good enough, with self doubt or unable to trust in yourself or others. You may worry about what others think of you and feel unable to be yourself or even forgotten who you really are. These feelings can affect all aspects of your life and may be holding you back.Through our work together, I will support you to build resilience, self-esteem and gain more control of your life. Be more able to find solutions to your problems, healtheir ways of coping and make long lasting changes.

My Approach

Person-centered counselling uses a non-authoritative approach that allows clients to take more of a lead in discussions so that, in the process, they will discover their own solutions. The therapist acts as a compassionate facilitator, listening without judgment and acknowledging the client’s experience without moving the conversation in another direction. The therapist is there to encourage and support the client and to guide the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with the client’s process of self-discovery.
