As a counsellor I strive to provide a non-judgemental, understanding and honest relationships in a safe environment. I have been in private practice for six years and counselled young people, adults and couple. I tailor the session to suit the client as counselling very subjective and each individual responds to different types of counselling.
I am a member of the BACP and work within their guidelines, codes of practice and ethics.
I have worked with children, young people and adults of all ages and backgrounds within the Heath Authority, Local Authority and the voluntary sector. As a tutor for adults with learning and other disabilities I facilitated groups on self esteem and confidence building, coping with stress and anger as well as relationships and bereavement.
As a Counsellor I have counselled in primary schools and also at a community college counselling students with a diverse range of issues. In addition to my private practice I was a volunteer for six years with Cruse Bereavement Care.
As a Person-Centred Counsellor I provide an opportunity to feel safe and comfortable to talk through any issues and explore and understand how you are feeling at your own pace.
