Hello and welcome to my profile!
I am mature lady. South. African British with 3 grown up kids, a boy and two girls and a proud nanny of two little boys, a partner and two grown up kids a boy and a girl (stepchildren). Although I spend most of my time reading but, family means a lot to me and I do enjoy swimming, I have to admit that, I hate travelling.
Helping others as a counsellor is my passion, i.e. Every issue does matter for example, known or unspoken mental
health due to seclusion or homelessness, the cycle of depression, anxiety, family matters,
bereavement, lockdown difficulties, domestic violence, emotional breakdown, self-harming,
and/or other issues such as relationship.
Time given in counselling is a pleasure. My work here is with adult above 18.
Briefly, about my previous work experience: I have worked mostly by looking and supporting ‘Children and Young’ people from my own home as a parent and with family, including working on ‘Education’ supporting learning of all levels, Primary to University, Special Education Sectors, to include within ‘Juvenile Prison’ as a Probation Officer and in our Community Centres. At Present, I work on part time basis with ‘Relate Dorchester counselling ‘Children and Y/P’ part time.
Above all, I have also worked by supporting grown-up individuals, from own ‘Home, Families, Hospitals, Community Centres and in Care homes with ‘Disability impairments and Mental Health’ plus ‘End of live settings’, with people of all kinds of background, regardless’. Also, flexible supporting others to live independently in their own homes with different ‘Health and Social Care Agencies’ in my home-town of Bournemouth-’.
I use ‘Humanistic Integration’ most theoretical approach as follows
